A Very Welcomed Break
Friday, November 16, 2007VACATION!!! It's a beautiful thing.
Kent and I have now been out West for over 3 months and I have been going strong with my new job during that time. Today, school is done and we don't have any school next week (save for parent-teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday). I am so thankful for this time to rest, relax and recuperate. AND, my mom is coming out to visit us on Tuesday!!!
If you have been reading my blog for the last couple of months, you know that is has been difficult for me to be so far away from my immediate family - we are all very close and have always experienced all the new, fun, sad, normal, painful, and exciting experiences together...until I moved. Now we've been experiencing life apart from each other and it just doesn't seem right. However, now my mom is going to visit and be able to see my life out here with her very eyes and experience what life is like for me and Kent out West. I am thoroughly excited!!! I'm sure it will go by faster than we want it to, but we are going to take every day for what it is and enjoy every moment we can have together.
Until then, I have a massive amount of homework and tests to grade and planning to do...and then, a little R&R...finally. :)
