Jane & Daniel - 2/13/2010

I flew to New York last weekend to witness the wedding of my dear friend and college roommate for 2 years. Jane met Daniel through a common friend they had both met through seminary. Daniel is an amazing man and is also a Koren-American like Jane. He loves God and serves him with his whole life. He has a heart for missions (it is in his blood as much as it is in Jane's blood). He honors and cherishes Jane and desires to love her with the love of Christ - amazing! Here are some pictures from our fun weekend together:

Hitomi - Jane's best friend, maid of honor, and mutual friend from Calvin. It was so good to see her again!

Last-minute planning :)

Joseph, Jane's youngest brother, playing with the piano before the rehearsal began

Ji Su and Joyce - friend and cousin of the bride and two of my roommates (along with Hitomi). I had a lot of fun getting to know them!

Ceremony #2: Traditional American wedding

Me and Jane at the after party (she is wearing a traditional Chinese dress) - I love her so much and am so thankful to God for planning our paths to cross. Jane has been a HUGE blessing in my life. She has opened my eyes to so many things and has given me new insight into God's faithfulness and presence in our lives. My life has been shaped in so many positive ways because of Jane. No matter the distance, I will always consider Jane a very special and dear friend.
